This listing is for the Perraux PMF 1850 stereo power amplifier. It is a two channel amplifier rated at 180 Watts into 8 ohms. A link to the original specifications can be found on-line.

This amplifier was manufactured in New Zealand! I do A/V installations and this amplifier was taken out of home where the owner was downsizing and no longer using it. He asked if I would help him sell the unit. To test the unit I connected it to a Yamaha receiver (acting as a pre-amp), a pair of RBH speakers, and a couple of different source components a Yamaha MusicCast music server, and a Sony CD/DVD player. The unit turned promptly and acted exactly as it should and the RBH speakers sounded fantastic.

Both source components played great and the speakers sounded great at both lower and higher volumes. I took a short video of the testing so you can see the unit in action.

The listing is for the amplifier and power cord. No other items or accessories are included. IMPORTANT - During my testing I noticed that the front face plate that says Perreaux was loose. I opened the unit to see why it was loose and two of the three screws that held the face plate in place were broken.

I removed those two screws all together, took pictures of where they went, and will include them in the same bag as the power cord in case you want to try and repair or re-secure it on your own. The loose face plate did not affect he operation or performance of the amplifier as you can see in my video above. The amplifier is in good condition with blemishes and minor signs of wear consistent with it's age.

I took several pictures from multiple angles so you can see everything for yourself. If you have any questions please ask. Thank you for looking and good luck!
