This is a fine original New Zealand pressing copy of a rare live double 12 (LP + EP) by British post-punk group. The Fall, released in 1983. The record was, per Discogs, released by New Zealand's Flying Nun label under the presumption that they had the group's blessing, only to be informed shortly after that it hadn't been authorized, and that the label was to cease exporting it and pressing new copies.
This accounts for the record's scarcity. The performance is from August 1982 in Auckland, and unsurprisingly focuses on tracks from the group's'82 Kamera releases, but includes tracks from the 1980 LP. As well as their debut 1979 LP.
Live at the Witch Trials. (the old Fall chestnut, "No Xmas for John Quays"). This copy has the original runout matrix #s: LIVE.Tape on parts of the top and bottom seams (the top seam has come unglued), light ring, corner, spine, seam, and edge wear, and light staining on the front cover (EX-). Clean with some hairline scrapes and a little light scuffing. Disc 1 plays with some light surface noise, and disc 2 plays with minimal surface noise -- o. This copy is missing the inserts. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded discs except where otherwise noted.
